lol so why no one wants to reply? I was reading a case about it ! May be not step 3 question but u never know, may be u will have a wiered question like this!!!!
It causes prolongation of the QT interval which may lead to more malignant ventricular arrythmia torsades de pointes and VF!!!! Please, try to correlate clinical information with possible cases and subsequently possible mcq!

 ...!? causes arrytmia too!!!gosh wht a medicine!i got a q about erythro==> causes pyloric stenosis!! Infantile hypertrophic pyloric stenosis after pertussis prophylaxis with erythromycin dats a wird drug!!!

erythromycin also increases GI peristalisis..

erythromycin causes arrhythmias when combined with enzyme inducers like ketoconazole, cimetidine etc. in such cases other macrolides like roxithromycin or azithromycin can be used. i think even clarithro has similar adv effect like erythro

This is a concept I learned in step-1 and this is how I remember Torsade de pointes causing drugs:
