Does anyone know the best states to scramble in?
i know east coast...but if thats not something we want is there anywhere else, like in the midwest.
just dont like NY or NJ at all!
please help if you can.

You can go through the list of programs with unfilled positions for the last couple of years. This can give you fair idea. Many programs repeatedly go unfilled. Give your best shot on these programs, if you do not have visa issue.
