Position# 1. Clinical Documentation Specialist

Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDS) is a position with hospital that works with physicians to improve clinical documentation. CDS performs concurrent and retrospective chart reviews for accuracy of clinical documentation to reflect the clinical presentation of the patient and the diagnostic and therapeutics provided. CDS will also participate in the performance improvement activity towards patient care that is evidence based.

Qualifications: Must be a medical school graduate that successfully completed the program (do not need to be licensed in US) or a registered licensed nurse. Must have experience in acute care settings. The position requires assertive personality with strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates with Post-graduate education in related field, including public health, are preferred.

Full-Time position with 8 AM to 5 PM schedule. If accepted, on the job training will be provided with salary and benefits.


Position# 2. Performance Improvement Coordinator

In collaboration with the Director of Performance Improvement, participates in the implementation, integration and coordination of the organization wide performance activities. Duties encompass all aspects of the programs including design, measurement and assessment and improvement activities. Serves as a resource to the organization on performance improvement and risk management principles and tools. Primarily responsible for coordination of data, reporting to appropriate committees and facilitates the Performance Improvement processes.
Qualifications and Skills Required:

Medical Professional with clinical medical knowledge.
Computer skills, Microsoft Office, proficiency in a variety of software programs.
Typing: 60wpm.
Two to three years experience in Performance Improvement or Risk Management preferred.
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with exceptional professional work ethics are required.

Position# 3. Case Manager

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the quality and resource management of all patients that are admitted to the facility from the point of their admission and across the continuum of the health care management. Works on behalf of the advocate, promoting cost containment and demonstrates leadership to integrate the health care providers to achieve a perceived seamless delivery of care. The methodology is designed to facilitate and insure the achievement of quality, clinical and cost effective outcomes and to perform a holistic and comprehensive concurrent review of the medical record for the medical necessity, intensity of service and severity of illness.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Medical Graduate or California Registered Nurse with current license.
Five years acute care nursing experience preferred. At least one year experience in case management and knowledge of discharge planning required.
