Thanks for the input buddy,there was a Q about a preg lady in 2 nd TM with ruptured aneurysm ,what is the most accurate and initial test?otherwise initial test is Xray and most accurate is CT angioMR angio TEE.
So any idea in a preg lady??

ur patient is in 2nd trimester , which means the risk of teratogenicity from radiation is minimal , so i think we can still go for Chest Xray
If she is in the first trimester , we can start with TEE , but i think that one xray will not cause damage as said in kaplan , the amount of exposure they use is very little
