Hi, simonsez, thanks for your an. I am not really convinced but still learned. I also missed a big point, pt is already on ceftazidime (or was on ?). Neutropenia is an emergency for this pt, I think empirical Tx should be given prior to diagnostic measures, which is always emphasized in UW.
