ATP production by glycolysis. - usmle@va
#1
i always get confused by how much ATP is produced per glucose in glucolysis
According to my understanding
By anerobic glycolysis...2ATP(substrate level phosphorylation)

By aerobic glycolyis(malate shuttle)
2ATP(substrate level phosphorylation)
2NADH will give 2(3ATP)=6
so total 8 ATP/glucose

By aerobic glycolyis( (glycerol phosphate shuttle)
2ATP(substrate level phosphorylation)
2FADH2 will give 2(2)=4
so total of 6 ATP/glusoe

what FA says is 32 ATP from malate shuttle n 30 from (glycerol phosphate shuttle)..what does that suppose to mean?
