Hi,
I got J1 vis approval yesterday at US embassy toronto. I am really worried because they didn't return DS-2019 form and mistakenly I left my husbands DS-2019 for J2 with them.
Can someone please guide me what to do. Can I get DS-2019 form with my passport?
Anyone with any idea.....please help me out

Call the embassy , you will need DS when you land into the US

I called them thrice. I don't know wht to do....they told me just wait might b you will get back with your passport if thats imp:for you to show at the port of entry. What do you say...they had to give back DS-2019 form right away on the day of interview.

hmm.. i think you shud call ECFMG and make them aware of the situation.

Hey DrSAim my initial J1 sponsorship by ECFMG is still taking time, and my STATEMENT of need is also taking time. They are both sent but just waiting for them to look at it. Anything i can do to make it go faster? Like go there directly lol??

I don't think so u can make ecfmg process go any faster. My statement of need was issued by end of feb...but then DS2019 took 4 weeks almost.I hope you ll get everything in time.
