Metabolic alkalosis compensate.

Mixta, compensate Co2 will be high. Here is low the Co2,
Metabolic Alkalosis Mixta

both alkalosis ....respi alkalosis....with renal failure

It's definitely mixed. Compensation of metabolic alkalosis would require the pCO2 to be ABOVE 40mmHg.

pH greater than 7.4 and HCO3 greater than 24 and PCO2 less than 40.
I think it is mixed too, but Mixed of Metabolic Alkalosis with Respiratory Alkalosis. Why? Because pH greater than 7.4 -->Alkalosis and HCO3 greater than 24 -->Metabolic; So MEtabolic Alkalosis. Then also pH greater than 7.4-->ALkalosis and PCO2 less than 40--> Respiratory; So REspiratory ALkalosis. So i think the final answer is mixed ALkalosis and Respiratory ALkalosis! Am I right? Anyone comes up diff answer? |
