Hey every body,I am an IMG,96/99/cs passed 1st attempt.need visa and have not taken step 3.I have 1 US LOR from a pediatrician (Cleveland Clinic OHIO). Truly speaking i want to be a pathologist but I could not get any observership/research in pathology so i don't have any US LOR for Patho.I dont have any experience in patho back home as well.
I have heard that competition for patho is very tough.usually candidates have Phd in patho befor applying.
Can anyone guide me what should I do? should i apply in patho r not? should i apply only in pediatrics? Will it be a wise decision to wait for 1 more year,i am an old graduate too(graduated in 2006).
I am very confused,plz give me an advice regarding this.
