Step 3 before the match!! - kemya

HEy mites I have two questions

1) Does step3 increase your chances to get residency..other than the H1 visa issue?

2) If yes. How does the score affect your residency application?

I'm An IMG with 82/83 scores for step 1 and 2

honestly speaking, it does affect a little bit in terms of residency application because most of the programs shoulder the expenses of step 3 so if they have img applicants who have the same credential and you have passed step 3, that will be an edge for you.

where can i apply for step 3? also where can i go to get more information about step 3?
does anybody know about FSMB practice CD and also Asters notes?
