1. do we need to attest the copies of MBBS digree and transcript certificates when applying for the exam.
2. do we need to put the original documents like transcripts etc

Nooooooooooo, never send you original except for ECFMG certification that only when they ask to do so. You do not need to attest because that is NOT valid in the US. Even a notarized copy is not considered by most of the programs as genuine. They will prefer ECFMG certification for which the transcripts have to be sent directly from your college to them.
