to add to the above, do im vaccine in deltoid, and almost half(as much as you can ) of HRIG around the wound and what ever left adminster IM at a site distant from vaccine such as gluteal area.

never give the IM Vaccine in Gluteal area.

if pt already been vaccinated, then No need for HRIG, just give 2 shot vaccine IM one at once (day 0) and 2nd shot at day 3

name of vaccine .....RVA or Imovax
name of RHIG----imogram

Additional information, give IM vaccine first and then RHIG up to 7th day, u cant give RHIG after 7day post exposure.
