I did the following:
I used USMLEworld throughout 3rd year, while studying for my shelf exams. (avg about 65%)
I also watched the Kaplan videos and used the Kaplan notes to study for the shelfs, at a relaxed pace.
Then I took about a month off from clerkships (this sept) to re-do all of uworld, go through step-up about 2 more times, and first aid once.
