Is there anyone who got an interview after calling a program?
I don't know anyone personally. If anything, it hampers your application. People have been shouting out aloud DO NOT CALL.

Unless you know the PD/someone in the program personally calling isn't going to help.

actually it can't hurt. I mean if they like your app they would have given you an iv. It's not like the coordinator has the authority to rip up an application. However, I'm not calling cause its useless. If a program wants me they'll invite me, they're not gonna magically invite me cause I called them.
