Isn't it that Glucagon act on "Gs-coupled protein receptor"---cAMP---protein kinase pathway

while Insulin acting on it's own receptor that got Tyrosin kinase activity---Protein phosphatse-1

i know Insulin receptor got 2 outer alpha-subunits and 2 inner beta-subunits

*what does it mean by alpha-receptor in the given explanation? and
*stimulating alpha-receptor and then Beta-receptor?------are they taking about alpha and beta subunits?

The insulin cell surface receptors consist of two alpha located extracellular and two beta subunits located intracellular.
