CT says Stroke,
now what to do, cant use IV Nitro

P O I M G E T(Head CT non contrast for stroke and r/o papilloedema)

Focal PHYSICAL:
General, heent, neuro, extremities(stroke),heart, lung.

obtain CT result. thrombotic stroke.

IV Labetalol or HYdralazine.stat
IV throbolytic.stat
Aspirin.stat
consult-Neuro stat

Transfer to ICU..
A D M I T E C O + CBC, BMP, UA, CXR,LIPID PROFILE,ECHO, CAROTID DOPPLAR(IF CAROTID
BRUIT)

Monitor till Improvements...manage HTN, DM, LIPIDS, SMOKING, ALCOHOL accordingly with counselling...
