Do we still need to counsel the pt even if he is not a smoker or drinker or drug user?

use yr common sense ..if pt is not smoking and still you counsel then he will say but dr i am not smoking.

Yes. But UW counsel everything pt on smoking, EOH, drug no matter whether he does them or not.

I think you are right. If the pt has no such hobbies, why counsel? prevention in case he will do it in the future?

I still don't agree with the RAS question of yours. I hope you looked at my opinion. renal parenchymal disease is the most common cause of secondary HTN.
