Neurology vs OBGYN -unable to decide-HELP - shift

Hi ,
I got Neuro and OBGYN IV's and am unable to decide which one should be ranked higher. I got 2 Neuro IV's and 4 OBG IV's- so I am in a dilemma. Is OBG a better field than Neuro?

Financially , which one is better - Now and down the line in the future. I heard that Neuro is not as lucrative as it was before and so OBG is a better option. But OBG is a stressful life plus chances of malpractice lawsuits can be high,. So I dont know what to do.

I am really anxious about making the wrong choice here. Can you all advice or offer any suggestion or help? Thanks.

First, you make me laugh because the two are so different its hilarious..NOI.
I understand your dilemma..but which one do you like better???? Rank the specialty you would love to be in, dont think of financial issues, both will do you goood) Its important to be where you love to be..so my advice: Rank the specialty of choice and the best program in that specialty as no 1...good luck.

Hi Cinnamon,Thanks for the reply. Yes, they are 2 diverse fields but I got IV's in both - so have to make a choice. Also- financial and stressful lives are important I feel b'cos you will be stuck with this decision all your life.

Your advice based on the field you like is good ,but personally , I like Pediatrics the best but will I take it ?? No. Why ?? B'cos it is not that good financially. So basically any choice is some sort of sacrifice. And if that sacrifice is worth it later on life then so be it.

Thats why I was thinking about deciding. I was getting all conflicting reports as stated in my 1st post. I just want to make the best decision and dont want to regret all my life later. That will be miserable.

Also I got 5 IM IV's too. And I was thinking about ranking IM below OBG/Neuro. Frankly, chances of OBG/Neuro are very slim but just giving it a shot and hoping. So what should the choices be? In what order.

I feel this choice has to be yours cuz it is gonna different frm person to person....for instance I wud any day go for neuro over OBG ....so now it is for u to decide...

Lina,Thanks. I understand it's a matter of choice. But which one is better financially? Personally , I like Peds the best but from a career point of view and more specifically from financial view point it is a weak choice.
Financial aspect is very important b'cos we cant change our choice later on and then regret . Thats why I want an opinion between OBG and Neuro.
