i passed step 1 , 2,cs and get ecfmg certificate, i want to know how many years does it work, how many years i can apply residency year, i heard it is 7 years , after 7 years, i have to take step 1 again??

no its valid forever, i think you need to complete all steps in 7 years from the date you pass your step 1....

your ecfmg certificate is valid forever.

you have to take the steps within a time limit for licensure depending on your state, but not for residency, for residency you need the ECFMG, which you have already.

so it means that i can go back my home country and work as a doctor, in the mean time i apply us residency every year until i am 60 years old.
