life in different states - lokko

I am living in CA, it's a wonderful state regarding weather but to expensive to live.
Did not hear from CA programs I am considering applying to East Coast, particulary to Virginia, Connecticut or Carolina ( both ). ANy suggestions where is better, regarding weather, cost of living etc

its very very cold in winters comapred to CA. u may feel it is cheap . all my CA friends ask me to move there from east coast but i like it here. except when it snows

Weather in virginia is warm and moist almost all year.The cost of living are much lower than ca.
