I finished my Physical Examination and I'm going to counsel the patient.
The patient is taking narcotics and it seems to be the cause of his condition.
Can I tell the patient to stop the narcotics and go back to his doctor to give him another drug or should I tell him just to go back to the doctor who prescribed the narcotic?

depends upon what is he taking narcotics for
we can even check the blood level of the medicine and then even recommend laxatives or enemas
