I have been studying for step one and i feel that i am ready, i need to test myself with an nbme and see where i actually stand. Someone kindly guide me as to which NBME should i take first to roughly know where i stand, i also would like to know which NBME's represent the actual scores. Thank you....

depends on what you expect from your self assesmnet ....
If you need to know where you stand...then take form 1-5 except 3 which is not useful if you need to know what will be your score in the real test very accuretly take form 6,7,11,12( 7, and 12 are the most accurate) and you better take them just before the exam. also consider that there is only 9 forms so don't try to BURN the most accurate ones if you don't know where you stand.... many students think they studied everything and they are ready, and they take form 7 or 12 and get shocked from the NOT passing score..... I gave U world form 2 out of curiosity to see where i stand and i got a 232! thats when i thought of giving an NBME to see if i am ready for the exam, but like you said, i dont want to burn out the most accurate ones thats why ill start with something which will give me an idea where i stand. I really appreciate the information you have given me. Thank you again.
