I graduated n 2002, and currently working as clinical assistant in neurology (in Canada) and I also practicale work experience in psychiatry, family medicine.
My step 2 CK score is low (76), CS passed

I am licentiate of medical Canadian council (LMCC).
I have also written manuscript in psychiatry and neurology
I am planning to apply for the residency this year.

I am wondering that if you can give me some advice that what i can do to increase my chance and in your opinion what are my chances. Secondly if you can give me advice that if i apply late this year is that going t be worthed or not.

Either apply on september 1st or postpone it for the next year. You don't need ecfmg certificate to apply but you need all your scores by end of january to be considered in the match rank. If you are applying this year you need to apply to the same programs where IMGs were interviewing last year, get the neuro, psych and FM IMG friendly lists from my website. You have low chances in neurology but you need to apply widely in FM and psych to get interviews. work on your personal statements one for each specialty, you may use the same one with modifications to suit the specialty.
