does anyone have any idea about the Preliminary positions offered? i mean, when do they start, what are the requirements, is it 7 days a week ?
anythign related to that??? i need any links or personal exp regarding prelims.. pls help !!

Get information via FREIDA on specific programs. Prelim in IM surgery etc.
They start july 1 or last week in June
Duty hour restrictions to 80 hours per week. No shift longer than 16 hours.
You usually have 1 day off per week. Not always a weekend day off.

thanks.. i was using FREIDA, but didnt know how to use it effectively.. now i got it..
is it as competitive as Residency to get in ? and any info regarding pay? someone told me its half the pay of 1st year residency..
