is sep 15th too late to apply? - stepmeup

hi all. my step 1 score is low and i did ok in step 2 ck, and so now i'm taking my step 3 to make up for my step 1. my exam is on aug. 25/26. I'm wondering if i should only apply on september 15th when i get my step 3 score..or should i go ahead and apply on sep 1 and risk inactivation by the programs because of my low score in step 1. i personally think i should wait till sep 15th and send in a complete application. what do you all think? thanks.

you should apply on the 1st.. then notify the programs when you get step 3 result. that way u can make yourself get noticed! email them all individually and tell them you have given your step 3 on 25th/26th aug and expect the result soon..
