hi...can the lor sent via lwp be signed electronically or does it need to be signed manually with a blue pen?

We require that all LORS uploaded through the LWP are signed in order to be processed. The document can either be electronically signed, or it can be printed and manually signed and then scanned in as a PDF. Please upload a new, signed letter of recommendation for this applicant as we cannot process the unsigned document.



Here is one way you can electronically sign a word document:



1. Open the letter of recommendation.

2. Click Insert Tab

3. Click “Shapes”

4. Choose the “Scribble” shape (as you see highlighted below)

5. You can then use your mouse to sign the appropriate area on the letter of recommendation and save it as a PDF.
