Importance of applying at 8am Sept 1, 2011 - cyclepsychkal
#1
Applications should be submitted on 1st September, at 8am sharp. Programs review applications on first come first serve basis, sorted by the time stamp of arrival time. For example - say 600 people applied between 8am to 8:15am and you applied at 9am, your application may very well be ignored completely as all IV candidates would have been selected from the 600 applicant pool.

But there is no guarantee of an IV even if you apply at 8am on Sept. 1st. For example, every year, for past several years, Asif-Ali applies at 8am. He fails repeatedly because:

1: he is a 2003 grad.
2: he is 32+ and unemployed.
3: he has a low IQ as he spells Mr. Hyde as (Mr. HIDE -- HAHHAHHAHAHHA)

So moral of the story -

(a). If you cant apply 8am Sept 1, then apply next year.
(b). If your creds meet the Asif-ali bar (2003 grad, 32+, unemployed, repeated failures etc), then save your money. You will never match.

Thanks
Cycle
