step2 exam application query - redbrick

I wish to apply for step2 ck exam.I have couple of months left to complete my internship.If I apply as a student now, and the ecfmg sends for verification of my status later when I`m a graduate......will this change of status create problems with regard to release of my result.Request members for their opinion.
