Hand Written Notes - yepal

After my interviews I emailed programs within 1 or 2 days to thank them. I have never sent out any thank notes. I have been hearing that sending such a note is very helpful. Do you believe I have blown my chances at it or should I send one sometime next month?

Is sending holiday wishes/ greeting cards a good idea?
