have you heard about this, where programs do int in jan for some first priority applicants and hold them for post match unfilled positions.

what do you mean by first priority? if it is so why they do not interview earlier? plase reply I may have one in January also..

they (programs) are not sure how many of the ROListed candidate will select their programs; so they may be interviewing as a backup.... as there is no much time to interview likely candidates for unfilled positions in 2 days of scramble..

some candidate i think still waiting for test results but they cann't go for the match and the programs have their very good application andoffer int to wait for post match.
it happen last year for me when i suppose to be guaranteed for post match position if i did not match, so when i call the person who is in the commity, he said you know we sorry we have 3 persons who signed for post match and we have only 2 positions unfilled so one will be out.
