hi friends…the foll is the reply from PD of a prog which has only amgs…should i raise my hopes or is it good for nothing reply?
I enjoyed meeting with you and I am thrilled you had a good day with us. I was impressed by your professionalism and maturity during our interview, and especially impressed hearing about your experience in (your home country) running (name of a ward) while the nurses were on strike.

It is positive as he/she remembers you and details of the conversation. PD could have just ignored your email or replied with a one liner....so I say this is positive.
However it doesnt guarantee anything as you dont know how many other IMGs PD liked hence u dont know how high u will be ranked in an AMG dominated program

This is really great response, Just make sure to keep in touch with them and show them you still interested this way you stay fresh in their mind
