I didn't apply for family medicine so far, I am wondering if I could try to scramble Family medince at the last minute? or should I apply for at least one family medicine now?

you have to apply for at least one family medicine program now. this would be the only mean by which you get the updates of programs that goes for scramble.

well since the fee comes as 75usd for 1 - 10 programs, might as well select 9 other family medicine programs since it is free.

You can apply to any open residency spots during Soap. In any specialty. You don't need to have apply to FP now.

I think lists of all categorical spots will be given to you. But, double check the webcast.

And if you want to apply one more program now, it's going to be $25 per program...because you've already applied many other programs in the beginning.
