hi guys, plz tell me when we apply for preliminary medicine do we also have to apply or tell the program for the respective subspeciality which you want to join after 1 yr
while i was viewing statistical of last year lot of post of preliminary medicine was not filled as compared to catagorical medicine.do what are the chances of getting these preliminary position in soap as compared to catagorical one if we apply.

u will see lot of unfilled prelim but these are not easy to get. they keep it unfilled specially university programmes. I was told they keep that if any of their students don't match or someone matched to advanced position, and did not get prelim, those get it. of course there is possibility for others too! but in real it is not easy as it looks.

i mean in soap this is or catagorical one is easy to get.is there any field in which i can get residency during soap with out any problem
