Hi everybody. Ranking kind is very tough for me. I am straddling between choosing categorical IM ( academic center with all fellowships) and University preliminary surgery program for top choices. See the core of my problem is that I wanna be a surgeon but at the same time I am afraid that I might end up with nothing in prelim program, as the guy who interviewed me told me that I gotta outperform AMG to be successfull applicant for the next year. So what would you do if you were in same shoes.
Go for surgery till the end.
Or IM in academical center.?

By the way I have no issues regarding visa, at least I hope so as I am getting my green card soon.

i would have given a try for surgery atleast once .... not trying annoys me

Go for prelim surgery..atleast I will do this, if i were you..
