with 1 yr of prelim or post grads . i know we can in some places. any ideas or experience?

there are states who take imgs with 1 yr post grad...? meanwhile u can re apply,hum?

I've just read in an article posted by azeb, that you might be able to practice in the prison system with one year experience and full license. Not sure about the validity of this data though! gl

I actually know of 2 residents who worked with me who did jobs in clinics/radiology places or ER shifts after finishing their internship. They prelim AMGs who were waiting for their advanced program to start. It is possible, being an IMg may pose unique challenges but i suppose it can be done. First thing you need to do is get state license and get a DEA number.

mleresidencytips : thanks a lot. shud i look for those states who require 1 yr of post grad? since i think i only can apply for those places?
