Couple comes in wanting to have a child. The lady has a history of Epilepsy, so the dude is worried about the chances of his bloke getting Epilepsy later in life. You explain to him that inheritance pattern of Epilepsy is:

okay,I think it could be either one ...and we won't be asked with two choices together,

multifactorial meaning in the medical dictionary:

pertaining to or characteristic of any condition or disease resulting from the interaction of many factors, specifically the interaction of several genes, usually polygenes, with or without the involvement of environmental factors.
