How hard is to get into CARDIOLOGY, IM? - toxoid

Hello I wonder how hard is to get into Cardio, IM?

I heard most of them consider candidates with research work.
If both steps are >240, do they consider it as a good score?

Please I need sincere advice, otherwise I am also interested in Neurology where I can get good research work.
But 1st choice is Cardio, since I love it.

Getting in fellowship depends on how hard you worked in residency, your research projects/publications, contacts made etc
USmle scores are for you to get into a solid residency
