what order shou the ld diagnostic workup has to be in? anyone?..please give me an example too..thank you

start off from simple and go complex; or cheap too expensive; like in a case of ectopic pregnancy; i would go for Urine HCG; then ultrasound; then laproscopy, however the D/D could also be PID; ovarian torsion, or others so u have to include tests that would agree with ure D/D; they go hand in hand

thankx...but will it matter if i write it in any order? cause it should be in most likely order for d/d...what about for diagnostic tests?..can it be in any order? as long as it is there?

Any order....doent matter for w/u but blood tests first...
In Kaplan step 2cs course they told us to write on the first row:CBC WITH DIFF,GLUC,LYTES,CHOLESTEROL,,,,,AND SPECIFIC W/U...
