newborn reflexes:
rooting reflex = this reflex is for feeding purpose [ baby turns side of face towards ipsilateral side of cheek stroked ], until 3 months from birth this is present, can be also found in neurological imbalanced patients [ cerebral palsy, dementia, stroke]
moro reflex = may last upto 6 months of age, due to childs neck being moved from its position, child pulls arms out and then back in and cries for a short period of time.
palmar grasp = until 5 months, sudden grasp of palm [ closing] when stroked. can be reversed by stroking the dorsal part of hand*
Babinski sign = inversion and big toe flexion [ until a year ]
