Lets say you have 100 patients in total.
30 of them have lung disease due to smoking out of the 60 that smoke
10 of them have same lung disease from nonsmoking out of 40 nonsmokers
would we make the chart as following :
disease ..... + .... -
smokers....30....30
nonsmo.....10....30
or the chart as following:
disease....+.....-
smokers..30....60
nonsmok..10....40
please clarify and if you can explain the reasoning will be gratefulll
