Is it a sin to apply to multiple residency programs in same hospital or university? can I be banned because of that?

I don't know about sin (doubt it though) but nrmp doesn't care if you apply to multiple programs from the same university. In short, there is nothing wrong it. However, if the programs find out, they wont like it, and probably not rank you very high. As someone said it's like dating two women and them finding about it..
