Hi,
To all those who received a 'last pitch' e-mail from St. Vincent Hospital telling you to rank them high and they gave a supposed fellowship placement list over the past 2-3 years.........I am very confused.
They mentioned 4-5 of their residents got into Transfusion Fellowship.......how is that possible? Transfusion Fellowship is for Pathology residents NOT I.M. residents. Plus a resident supposedly got into 'Transplantational Immunology' which I've never heard of this fellowship before and I think its again a Pathology fellowship. Were they lying????
Lastly, I know as a fact the fellowship placement they mentioned includes chief residents and its actually more than 2 years. Any input......
