How difficult is to get in to anesthesiology? What credentials are required?

check the program's web sites, each program has different requirements, in general I would say anesthesia is highly competitive (this might change over the years again) and therefore scores in the high 90s are required, as always: high scores, USCE, research, US LoR, anesthesia experience (in your home country) are a plus, maybe you can get some connection to US faculty, this could help a lot
