how can i get a paid research position,
i tried in several places but i am only getting rejections

Usually IMGs volunteer ad honorem for research, from the experience of a couple of fiends , from 12 to 18 months, before getting some salary, even to work for free there is huge number of good candidates. Of course you can also talk to friends and be paid since the first month

@awen step3md is correct. you can try a community-based program, they are more FMG/IMG friendly.
