since a lot of visas J1 are being rejected left and right. Specially, from (India,middleeast pakistan)
Do you think its better to apply for J one status change while in US on B1/B2
Even if you get refused there you can appeal but I have heard if they refuse you in home country they also take away your visit visa
In that case you get stuck , and the programs do not wait for their residents.
Please help.
