Med School in US versus reapply next year? - matchaholic
#1
I didn't match because I have low scores and attempts. Since the residency market is only going to get increasingly tougher with more AMGs entering each year, I am seriously considering biting the bullet and devoting my energy to the MCAT and applying to med schools here.

Anyone else explored or thought of this option? What's usually required?

Bad idea, get into med school in the US is way more competitive that get into a residency. Besides There is some kind of rule in which , if you finished med school abroad , they won't consider your application Beside you have your steps, and it is extremely expensive we are talking around a quarter million dollards in the worst case scenario
