hi i never visited this forum bcos hav not gone through any steps . sudenly i visit and became curious for ur advice. i am an old img (very old feel shy to mention ) more than 8 years but i was an practising anesthesiologist in back home , i moved to united states just after marriage and that is 2 years ago . i gave birth my child last year and this december i want to sit for USMLE . what u say i give up and from begening try to become a EKG tech or NURSE .

I guess, you should give a try, no harm in trying. That what I am doing ,I graduated 10 years back.

I am an old graduate too and trying to apply. Searched freida and sent emails to programs to make a list. It's still 200+ programs for IMGs with 10+ YOG.

ok , but while i visiting this forum people r making fun on getting residency and and trying to become NP, RN ,,,,,,,,,,,,so i became confused i hav no gap , the last day i moved to us in the morning i work also .............. best wishes for all
