IMG's who will require visas - braveheart2006

I am not very clear what is to be done for visas. I got my contract and state license forms but no forms or info about visa. My program will be giving H1, but when is the process started.

Can any one please explain in step wise manner what is the course of actions regarding visa, till we start residency.

sign the contract and send it to the program and also apply for state license then after getting the license u have to apply for h1.
