i am going on j1 visa to university prog in internal medicine.if i get fellowship in a program which sponsor h1 can i change my j1 to h1 then .

J1 cannot chnage to H1 without waiver goggo...keep that in mind.u will have to do fwship on J1 too.

My situation is like this. In one hospital they said they cannot sponsor visa but they would give me employment letter for H1. Now is that just employment letter enough for the lawyer to apply for H1.
