from what i've read di george is due to the failure of the 3 and 4th branchial pouch. but i've seen questions in which they list pouch 3 and pouch 4 as separate choices.
which is more correct between the 3 and 4?

the choice that states both 3 and 4 pouch would be the best one. However, if stated as separate, I go for the pouch 3 because its failure affects both thymus and inferior parathyroid glands whereas pouch 4 doesn't affect thymus, thus its failure by itself couldn't explain the whole picture of Digeorge syndrom.
